dissected

removed from our patience and as

fast as we moved, 

equal parts were turned into

silver ether; trapped in this comical,

framed,

screened,

cage. what once were words of entry

now have become lists of lines

to choose, human, from.

i chose to tap and lift and press;

you chose an em-dash and 

contractions. i chose this white because

when i bleed,

at least, breathing, will notice.
