Turned

Rained on me before and
Watched carefully between
Each petal;
Stubborn smiles and
Wet bearded intuition.
Partial and together
And wholly memorized
We turned staples apart
Where we were.
Finally we are rose
Watered sepia and
Our tongues are
Warped with destitute
Frames; photograph of
Us as we were I.
